About the tour

1. This plan is set in Miyagi Prefecture. Enjoy a discount set plan that includes lunch, a cruise around the bay, and a visit to Zuigan-ji Temple at Matsushima, one of the renowned Three Views of Japan.
2. Matsushima Bay was the first bay in Japan to be included in the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club. With its inception into this exclusive group, Matsushima Bay is looking forward to welcoming even more visitors from all over the world.
3. Matsushima is famous as one of the Three Scenic Views of Japan. Approximately 260 islands of varying sizes dot the coast, and the ivory color of their stone contrasts beautifully with Matsushima’s verdant black and red pine trees and the cerulean water. This plan takes participants on a cruise around the bay and sails by Nio-jima island which has been eroded by the sea and the waves to form a unique statue-like shape said to be that of a temple guardian. Enjoy admiring the ever-changing islands of Matsushima while cruising around the bay.
