1. This course takes customers directly to Takachiho from central Kumamoto City. After arriving, shuttle service to Takachiho Gorge is included, so book worry-free!
2. For lunch, savor piping hot Miyazaki beef grilled to perfection on earthenware. After lunch, take a stroll around Takachiho Gorge.
3. At the location, customers will have about 3 hours of free time, so go ahead and enjoy sightseeing amidst the mysterious atmosphere of Takachiho Shrine.

Please board the Takachiho-go bus bound for Nobeoka and alight at Takachiho Bus Center. Please take care to disembark at the correct location.

From Takachiho Bus Center, a taxi/shuttle service will be used to reach Takachiho Gorge/Chiho no Ie (lunch venue).

Chiho no Ie (60 min)
The taxi shuttle service takes about 10 minutes from Takachiho Bus Center. Arrive at Takachiho Gorge Chiho no Ie, the lunch venue.
For lunch, savor the luxurious taste of Miyazaki beef.

Takachiho Gorge, Takachiho Shrine (210 min)
After lunch, walk about 5 minutes to Takachiho Gorge, or enjoy a stroll around Takachiho Shrine.
Takachiho Gorge: This beautiful valley is designated as a Natural Monument of Japan.
There are walkways that make it easy to stroll around.
Seeing up close the Manai Falls, one of Japan’s top 100 waterfalls,
aboard a chartered boat is quite a popular activity.
Takachiho Shrine: Within the premises, the Chichibu-sugi cedar tree (about 800 years old) and the Meoto-sugi (“wedded couple”) cedar trees stand tall.
If married couples or lovers walk while holding hands around the cedar trees three times,
it is said that their wishes will come true.

Charges for sightseeing facilities are not included in the tour booking charge. For customers who plan to go on the popular chartered boat ride, a charge of JPY 2,000 (per boat, max. 3 passengers, approx. 30 min) must be paid at the location. Business Hours: 8:30 – 17:00
