Depart from Nagasaki Port Terminal
After departing from Nagasaki Port, don’t miss the marvelous views of World Heritage Sites such as the Giant Cantilever Crane in the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries shipyard, Glover Garden, and more. After passing under the Megami Bridge and heading out from the port, strong waves may cause the ship to rock. Enjoy beautiful views of the city from the sea.
On board the ship and on the island, a staff from the Nagasaki Tourism Administration and a staff from the conducting ferry company will tell the participants all about Gunkanjima, how its name came to be, its historical value, and other information in Japanese.

Gunkanjima (60 min)
In case of inclement weather on the day of the tour, the ship may not be able to dock on the pier.
A full refund will be issued if the cruise is cancelled on the day of the tour due to inclement weather. If after setting sail the itinerary is changed to a cruise around the island with no landing, participants will be refunded JPY 500/adult and JPY 300/child on site. Also, the Nagasaki City Facility Use Charge paid at reception will be refunded in full in either of the above cases.
After landing, please follow the instructions of the staff. There is a limit to the time spent on the island, so everyone will move as a group.
