A World Heritage site. This temple has over 1,300 years of history. View the numerous temple buildings while walking around the grounds.

Minors under 20 years of age are not permitted to consume alcohol under the Japanese law, and may not participate in the sake tasting activity. Alternatives will not be provided.

Kasuga Taisha Shrine (50 min)
This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. Special worship services will be conducted by Shinto priests or priestesses.
