About the Tour

Enjoy Japan’s culture and nature with visits to Meiji Shrine, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace, and Senso-ji Temple, and experience the country’s modern architecture and trends by going on a cruise of the bay area and shopping at Nakamise-dori.
1. This is a 1-day sightseeing tour which includes a Tokyo Bay Cruise, a visit to Odaiba and more.
2. Experience the culture and natural setting of Japan by visiting sites including Meiji Shrine, a location lush with foliage which draws the most visitors of any shrine in Japan at the start of the new year, and an Imperial Japanese garden.

Pick-up Service  

Gather at designated locations (hotels in Tokyo) and board the bus bound for Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal.

09:00 –
Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal  

Depart Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal by bus for a sightseeing tour around Tokyo.

Meiji Shrine  (30 min)  

This is one of the most distinguished shrines in the country. Step inside the grounds and be surrounded by a sprawling forest which makes visitors forget about this shrine’s urban location.

National Diet Building (drive-by)  

See the Japanese Government center from the bus.

East Gardens of the Imperial Palace  (30 min)  

One of Tokyo’s great hidden locations. This spectacular Japanese garden features a range of beautiful seasonal flowers.
*The tour will visit the Imperial Palace Plaza in front of Nijubashi Bridge instead on Mondays and Fridays.

Senso-ji Temple & Nakamise Shopping Street  (45 min)  

Senso-ji, Tokyo’s oldest temple, offers plenty to see including the bright red Kaminarimon Gate, a statue of the god of thunder, and a five-story pagoda. The bustling street known as “Nakamise” stretches for about 250 m from Kaminarimon Gate to Senso-ji Temple and is filled with a plethora of shops.

Ginza (drive-by)  

From the window get a look at Ginza, where rows of luxury brand shops, and recently ‘fast fashion’ retailers, line the streets.

The popular Odaiba Seaside Park faces Tokyo Bay and offers great photo opportunities of Rainbow Bridge, the Statue of Liberty replica and more.

Japanese Dance Viewing  (10 min)

Enjoy watching a Japanese dance performance at Tokyo Tourist Information Center Yurakucho.

Remarks

1. On Mondays, Fridays and other days when the Imperial Palace East Garden is closed, the tour will visit the Imperial Palace Plaza in front of the Nijubashi Bridge instead.

2. If the minimum number of participants is not met by 4 days before the scheduled date, the tour on that date may be cancelled.

3. There will be no tour on Feb. 28th (Sun.) due to the Tokyo Marathon.
