About the tour

1. This tour will visit the Fuji Shibazakura (moss phlox) and Tulip festivals which showcase the flowers blooming in full glory with Mt. Fuji standing in the background. Admire a vast field of about 800 thousand shibazakura, and a tulip field selected based on the current blooming conditions. And, this tour also features a variety of fun with the popular all-you-can-eat strawberry picking, as well as a taste testing of Japanese sake made with local rice and wine made with grapes cultivated on private farms.
2. See Shibazakura, tulips, and enjoy strawberry picking, 3 spring highlights, all in 1 day via bus.
3. The all-you-can-eat strawberry picking includes condensed milk for dipping.

07:10 – 07:20
Meet at the Asakusa View Hotel Lobby for Reception & Departure
Please arrive by 7:10. The interpreter-guide or a staff will conduct check-in. The bus will depart at 7:20.

Tulip Viewing (50 min)
The tour will visit an in-season tulip field.

Tulips will be viewed at whichever flower field is in bloom at the time, either Heidi’s Village, Grinpa, or Fuji Flower Village. Please be aware that if flowers are not in bloom at any of the locations, an alternate destination may be visited.
Mt. Fuji is not visible from Heidi’s Village.
Also, the order of the itinerary is subject to change.
The blooming conditions of flowers noted in the itinerary depend on the type of flower, weather conditions, etc., and the peak viewing period may vary for each. The tour will still be held if flowers are in bloom at only some tour itinerary location(s), or if alternative locations can be visited. If tour operation is confirmed but a customer cancels due to personal circumstances, the standard cancellation fees will apply.

Fuji Shibazakura Festival (90 min)
800,000 shibazakura blossoms carpet a vast area at the foot of Mt. Fuji at the Fuji Shibazakura Festival. Purchase your own lunch here at the “Mt. Fuji Delicious Food Festival” food court featuring famous foods from Yamanashi Prefecture.

The blooming conditions of flowers noted in the itinerary depend on the type of flower, weather conditions, etc., and the peak viewing period may vary for each. The tour will still be held if flowers are in bloom at only some tour itinerary location(s), or if alternative locations can be visited. If tour operation is confirmed but a customer cancels due to personal circumstances, the standard cancellation fees will apply.
14:40 – 15:10
Strawberry-picking and All-You-Can-Eat (30 min)
Enjoy sweet, all-you-can-eat strawberries for 30 minutes. Includes condensed milk for dipping.

[Strawberry Picking]
Young children ages 3-5 require an admission fee for the strawberry farm. Please pay on your own, in cash upon admission to the farm. (Apr. 22 ~ May 10: JPY 750, May 11~21: JPY 350. And, even if a child is 3-5 years old, if their booking was made under the child rate, the admission fee is not required.) The strawberry farm admission fee for young children ages 0-2 is free.
Large bags are not allowed in the fruit picking area. All-you-can-eat applies only to the fruit picking location. Fruit cannot be taken home with you so please consume it during the allotted time.
If fruits are not ripe for picking due to weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled. Depending on the weather, the group may only have the all-you-can-eat fruits activity instead.
15:30 – 16:00
Tour & Taste Testing at brewery (30 min)
Enjoy a taste testing of Japanese sake made with local rice, wine made with grapes cultivated on private farms, as well as plum wine and shochu.

Depending on road conditions and congestions at destinations, the brewery tour and taste testing may be omitted, the sightseeing time at the Fuji Shibazakura Festival may be shortened, or there may be a change in the itinerary order or arrival times. However, these will not be accepted as a reason for booking charge refunds.

8. Seats are assigned on the bus. The interpreter-guide will give instructions to participants on the tour day. Seating requests cannot be accepted.
Smoking is not permitted on the bus.

9. Young children ages 0-5 may join the tour for free, but bus seats, admission fees for the Tulip and Fuji Shibazakura festivals, and strawberry farm admission fees are not included for them.
Said children will have to sit on the lap of their parent or guardian while on the bus, and participants will have to pay the Tulip field admission fee (JPY 400/3-5 year old child), the Fuji Shibazakura Festival admission fee (JPY 250/3-5 year old child), and the strawberry farm admission fee (ages 3-5: JPY 750 for Apr. 22 ~ May 10, JPY 350 for May 11~21) on the day of the tour.
*However, the tulip field admission fee will not be required if tulip viewing is at Heidi’s Village.
If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the child rate (6-11 years old). The admission fees for the Tulip Festival, the Fuji Shibazakura Festival, and the strawberry farm are also included in the child rate (ages 6-11).
