About the tour

1. This 4-day bus tour round-trip from Sapporo includes accommodation at the popular Noboribetsu Onsen, and is packed full of sightseeing at Furano, Biei, and Otaru!
2. On Day 1, enjoy a walk of the grounds at Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura historical theme park while wearing unique Japanese yukata (summer kimono).
3. This tour is accompanied by an English-speaking interpreter guide. (Only a Chinese-speaking interpreter guide accompanies the tour for departures on Oct. 1 and 5.)
4. The tour is guaranteed to run with a minimum of 2 participants on all tour dates!

DAY 1

Meet at Sapporo Station North Exit Kita-dori Group Waiting Area (Kane-no-Hiroba plaza), Departure
Please go to the meeting location by 8:30.
Departure time is 8:45.

Lake Shikotsu (60 min)
Enjoy an unguided stroll around Lake Shikotsu.
Feel free to board a sightseeing boat (charges not included in the tour).
(Boarding fare JPY 1,620 per adult and JPY 810 per child. Please pay at the location.)
If boarding, please conduct the necessary procedures at the Lake Shikotsu Sightseeing Boat window on your own.
*The sightseeing boat departure times are set depending on circumstances on the day, so please ask the tour conductor for details.

Chitose Outlet Mall Rera, Lunch (not included) (120 min)
Enjoy shopping and lunch on your own during the allotted time here.

Noboribetsu Date Jidaimura (80 min)
After entering, customers will wear a yukata and explore freely on their own.
Enjoy watching an action-packed ninja show and a captivating oiran dance.

Farm Tomita (60 min)
Enjoy sightseeing on your own.
[Itinerary Change]
On Day 2 for tours departing on May 21~June 10 and Sept. 4~Oct. 10, flower viewing at Farm Tomita will be changed to potato digging at Flower Land Kamifurano and Tractor Bus Ride. Also, Melon Harvesting Experience at Yoshida Farm will be changed to Furano Cheese Factory (as it is not melon harvesting season)
The blooming conditions of flowers noted in the itinerary depend on the type of flower, weather conditions, etc., and the peak viewing period may vary for each. The tour will still be held if flowers are in bloom at only some tour itinerary location(s), or if alternative locations can be visited. If tour operation is confirmed but a customer cancels due to personal circumstances, the standard cancellation fees will apply.

Furano Wine House Lunch / Furano Winery (90 min)
Lunch Western-style set menu (mini cheese fondue and Hamburg steak)

After lunch, customers may enjoy sightseeing on their own at the nearby Furano Winery.
Wines may be sampled, and a lineup of wines and cheeses are sold at the shop.

Please understand that there is no vegetarian option available.
14:50 – 15:40
– Yoshida Farm Melon Harvesting & Tasting (50 min)
Adults and children will each get to pick one melon from the field. Afterwards, enjoy tasting the melon.
The harvested melon may be taken home as a souvenir.
In case participants cannot enter the plantation due to inclement weather, they may choose a melon from the batch already harvested on the day.
If sending the harvested melon for delivery, additional charges will apply.
If young children want to participate in the harvesting and taste testing experience, please pay an additional JPY 1,500 each to the tour conductor on the day.

After arriving, customers are free to explore Ningle Terrace or Kaze no Garden at the hotel premises on their own.

Blue Pond (40 min)
Brimming with a mysterious atmosphere, this pond has become quite popular for its unforgettable scenery of larches and other trees rising over the blue water.

Panoramic Flower Gardens Shikisai-no-Oka (40 min)
Enjoy exploring the area on your own. In summer, the hill transforms into a beautifully crafted carpet as the entire field is covered in colorful flowers blooming in full glory.

Biei Patchwork Road (Drive-by) (50 min)
From the window, enjoy iconic sights of Biei such as the “Ken & Mary” poplar tree, “Parent-Child” trees, and a tree grove at “Mild Seven Hills.”

Asahiyama Zoo, Lunch (not included) (120 min)
Asahiyama Zoo rapidly became famous for its unique and interactive enclosures which allow visitors to see animals up close in their natural state. The zoo has become known as one of Hokkaido’s best sightseeing spots, and receives flocks of visitors from not only Japan but overseas as well.

Hokkaido Ice Pavilion (30 min)
After entering, customers are free to explore on their own.
The inside is kept at -20℃. Visitors are welcomed by an ice cave and huge icicles.
There is an experience corner where visitors can try being in an extreme -41℃ temperature where glistening ‘diamond dust’ can be seen floating in the air.

Ryusei and Ginga Waterfalls (10 min)
The Ginga Waterfall looks graceful as water falls like fine white threads, while the Ryusei Waterfall appears more powerful as water gushes out with force. Lay your eyes on these falls recognized as among Japan’s 100 best.

Walk around Otaru (unguided, enjoy lunch on your own) (150 min)
Take a stroll around the Otaru Canal and see the townscape, and enjoy some sushi, sweets, and other local food. (Participants are free to have lunch, meal charges not included in the tour.)

Shiroi Koibito Park (50 min)
See Hokkaido’s famed confection, ‘Shiroi Koibito,’ being made on the production line. Nearby is a cafe serving original sweets.
After entering, customers are free to explore on their own.

Odori Park (drive-by)
Enjoy seeing the sights in central Sapporo City from the window.
